ANOINTING OF THE SICK:

Special liturgies of sacramental healing for the aged and those who are ill take place at all masses on designated weekends in the fall and spring of each year. Healing Liturgies: March 20, 2010. November 11. The Sacrament of Anointing also will be celebrated at home or healthcare facility any time upon request. Please contact the parish secretary.

BAPTISM:

Parents should register for the baptism of their children by contacting the parish secretary. Prior to the baptism, parents meet with one of the priests and also take part in a special baptismal preparation program. Baptisms are celebrated on designated Sundays throughout the year at 1:30 p.m. 2010 Baptism dates: Apr. 11; May 23; June 27, July 18, August 8 Call the Parish Office to schedule your child's baptism at 973.226.0979. Family must be member of Notre Dame Parish in order to receive the sacrament of Baptism.

MARRIAGE:

As you proceed in your preparation for marriage, we hope that it will be a time for you to more fully understand God's will for your marriage and for your ramily. A one year formal preparation is necessary for most couples. You are also asked to call our Director of Music, Ed Frenzel, at 973-226-0979 to schedule an appointment for planning music for your wedding. 2010 PreCana Date: Sunday, November 14 at 9:30A-5:00P. Registration begins at 9:30A the day of your Pre-Cana Program. Registration for Pre-Cana must be done directly through the Archdiocese of Newark. Log onto http://www.rcan.org/famlife/precana.htm. To be married at Notre Dame, one must be a registered parishioner.

RECONCILIATION:

Saturday: 4:30 to 5:00 pm Opportunities for a communal celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation take place during Advent and Lent. At other times, please call the Parish Office for an appointment.
