| Special liturgies of sacramental healing for the aged and those who are ill take place at all masses on designated weekends in the fall and spring of each year. Healing Liturgies for the this year will be the held at all masses the weekend of November 10 and November 11. Healing Liturgies for 2008 will be held at all masses the weekend of March 8 and March 9.
The Sacrament of Anointing also will be celebrated at home any time upon request. Please contact the parish secretary. | | Parents should register for the baptism of their children by contacting the parish secretary. Prior to the baptism, parents meet with one of the priests and also take part in a special baptismal preparation program.
Baptisms are celebrated on designated Sundays throughout the year at 1:30 p.m.
Baptism Dates for 2008 are as follows: January 6; February 3; March 30; April 27; June 1; July 13; August 24. You will be contacted 2 weeks prior to your Baptism date by a Catechesis Couple who will meet with you the Tuesday prior to your Baptism date.
Call the Parish Office to schedule.
Family must be member of Notre Dame Parish in order to receive the sacrament of Baptism.
| | To ensure adequate preparation for marriage, engaged couples are asked to contact a priest of the parish one year before the actual date of marriage. You are also asked to call our Director of Music, Ed Frenzel, at 973-226-0979 to schedule an appointment for planning music for your wedding. Our Pre-Cana dates are Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 10:00A. Our 2008 date is Sunday, March 2. Registration begins at 9:30A the day of your Pre-Cana Program. Registration for Pre-Cana must be done directly through the Archdiocese of Newark. Log onto http://www.rcan.org/famlife/precana.htm.
To be married at Notre Dame, one must be a registered parishioner.
| | Saturday: 4:30 to 5:00 pm and upon request after 5:30 pm Mass.
Opportunities for a communal celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation take place during Advent and Lent. At other times, please call the Parish Office for an appointment. |
