In April we embarked on a “Roof Campaign” to replace the roof on the church which was in dire need of repair. In two months time, thanks to the extreme generosity of the parishioners, we exceeded our goal!!!

On May 29^th, Bay Roofing arrived and went right to work. The original two layers of shingle were removed, a new two inch foam and plywood insulation was screwed into the original deck. Tar paper was placed on that with special ice and snow guards nearer the gutters. The dark, sandy (San Gabriel) forty year shingle was then nailed to cover the entire roof. The job was completed on June 13^th.
