On June 14, 2009 close to 1000 family members, friends and parishioners gathered at Forest Lodge in Warren NJ to wish Fr. Ed a happy and healthy retirement. Prayers were answered that day, when after days of rain; the sun broke through the clouds and made it a more magnificent picnic for Fr. Ed!

Fr. Ed was given a gift from the parish, thanking him for his 22 years of dedication to Notre Dame and was presented with Proclamations from surrounding towns for all his dedication and support to not only Notre Dame but the whole community.
